RESIDENTIAL TRAINING PROGRAM ON CRITICAL CARE NURSING |

In the present scenario where High Quality Care is demanded from the Nurses in the Emergency & Critical Care Units, it is high time to provide training to the Nurses to groom their skills in taking care of critical patients in a highly professional manner.
With this emerging need, Unity Health Complex has come up with an extensive Training Program to qualified Nurses to mould them to become experts in taking care of the Critically ill patients.

Pass in GNM, BSc or P.C BSc(N) Candidates having working experience of min. 1 year will be given preference. |
| Course Syllabus |
Practical Training associated with Lectures/Bedside Teaching in the Critical Care Units (Nuero ICU, MICU, Cardiac ICU, SICU, HDU etc) Case study & presentations Study materials recommended by American Board of Critical Care Nursing.

| General Rules & Regulations: |

Students will be posted for practical training in any of the ICU’s in any shift –on all week days except Sunday.
100% attendance is required |

Students availing leave for any genuine reasons have to be cover up the attendance later on. |

Periodic Internal Assessment Tests will be conducted. Final Examination, both practical and theory will be conducted at end of the Training Program. |

Students shall observe the rules pertaining to the Critical Care Units as well as that of the Hospital in general. |

Dress Code – Uniform in practice in the critical Care Unit of the Hospital. |

Students are not permitted to use mobile Telephone in the premises. |

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidate is through personal interview.20 students only are allowed in one batch |
