| The Intensive Care and the Intensive Cardiac Care units at UHC are Level One ICUs, licensed to accept the more critically ill. The less critically ill are moved to Level Two ICU. It is well adept with systems like Holter Monitoring, Treadmill, Onside Echocardiogram with Colour Doppler, Respirators, continuous availability of blood, modern fully air conditioned 8 single beds with wireless Telemetry Monitor System for critically ill. The ICU features modular monitors that are networked to the central nursing station. Another unique feature that helps UHC stand out in the world of health care is the presence of an Intensive in charge of the ICU and ICCU, specialized in treating critically ill patients. |
