| The neurosurgery department is a hub of transcendence for treatment of diseases of the brain and spine. This department is headed by renowned neurosurgeons with broad experience in administering all kinds of brain and spine surgeries. This department plays a crucial role in the emergency and accident care. An ultra modern emergency ambulance assists in shifting critically ill patients from other hospitals to UHC. There is a well furnished neurosurgery ICU for critical neurosurgical patients. Many types of brain tumors are operated here, some of which are glioma, meningioma, acoustic tumors, pituitary lesions, epidermoid , dermoid tumors etc. Vascular lesions like aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations are also treated here with excellent results.
